What Each One Does

Ambient Lighting

Ambient lighting adds colour and atmosphere to the sides of your car's interior — the door panels, dashboard, footwells and centre console. It creates a mood and a sense of quality. When you get in the car at night, the interior glows. During the day, it's subtle but visible. On vehicles coded into the factory infotainment (BMW, Mercedes, Audi), you adjust colour and brightness from your car's screen.

A Starlight Headliner

A starlight headliner does something entirely different. It's installed in the roof lining — the headliner — and creates a twinkling fibre optic star field above you. It only activates when you look up. The effect is dramatic and immersive in a way that ambient lighting isn't. It's also a much more distinctive modification: most people who see it for the first time have never seen it before.

Ambient lighting is visible from outside the car through the windows at night — it's a statement. Starlight is private; you only see it from inside, looking up.

Ambient lighting typically takes 2–6 hours. Starlight headliner installation takes 6–10 hours, because the headliner needs to be removed, worked on by hand, and reinstalled. Both are usually done in a single day.
